The Writers' Workshop will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Hellenic Center, Bethesda, MD.
The Writers' Workshop is open to Greek and Greek Americans who live in the Washington D.C. area and have written a short story, essay, nonfiction piece, or chapters of a novel. The group meets at least once a month, if not more. Its purpose is to help each writer grow in their writing, by reading and critiquing other people's works, and by receiving feedback on their own works.
At least 1-2 weeks before the meeting, each writer will submit their piece to Patty Apostolides (patty (at) pattyapostolides.com) who leads the group. She will then submit it to the rest of the writers in the group. The writers will read each work and bring their comments to the writers' workshop.
All works submitted to the group are confidential. We strive to respect and honor each others' works, in a safe and nurturing environment.
If you have not written any works, but would like to attend and read and comment, please email Patty Apostolides to put you on the mailing list.
