The Hellenic Writers' Group of Washington DC (HWGW) is a group of Greek, Greek American, and Philhellene writers in the greater Washington, DC area. The group is under the auspices of the cultural nonprofit organization H.S. Prometheas. HWGW meets monthly and holds poetry and critique sessions as well as classes on the craft of writing. It also invites speakers on an ongoing basis to present on relevant topics.

Oct. 31, 2015 Writers' Group Meeting/Workshop/Poetry Meeting
We are having a writers' group meeting on Oct. 31, 2015 at the Hellenic Center, 6506 Bells Mill Rd. in Bethesda, MD, at 10AM.
This will be followed by the writers' workshop and poetry group meeting.
